With Infopia, the “Mom and Pop” business slashed administrative time to focus on more strategic work, as well as dramatically expanded their online presence and eCommerce partners. “As a small business with a limited operating budget, we’ve never made an investment of this scale before – but after doing our homework at eBay Live! 2006, we were confident that Infopia was the right bang-for-our-buck solution to help us quickly beef up our bottom line,” explained Jason Barnes, owner of JJ’s Toy Shop. “Our success with Infopia validates our decision to trust them with our business, our dream. Without Infopia’s eCommerce solution, it would have taken us years to make the leap to this next level.”
With Infopia, JJ’s Toy Shop was also able to neatly tie their systems together, for instance, integrating with their existing shipping and payment providers, including UPS WorldShip, USPS, Endicia, PayPal, Google Checkout, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and others. The jump in operating efficiency, combined with the resulting growth in product offering capacity and sales channels, enabled the company to quadruple sales within a week of solution deployment. Comparing year-to-year Christmas season sales, the online retailer reported not only an increase from an average of 35 orders a day in 2005 to about 100 orders a day in 2006, but also an accompanying jump in average order size and profit margin.
“Whether for start-ups or multi-billion dollar corporations, our solutions are designed to help extend their online business to drive more transactions, revenue, and profits,” explained said Bjorn Espenes, chief executive officer of Infopia. “The results reported by JJ’s Toy Shop are illustrative of how an investment in Infopia eCommerce solutions can rapidly deliver tangible, bottom-line results.”
